Music Nights/Events Flyers

I collected some flyers to have a look at that advertise music nights and events in Leeds. They were all from a record store and so are appropriate to the sort of vibe that will be expected from Secret 7 submissions.

One thing I notice about these is that in the argument of form vs function, these flyers have settled on a compromise. The back pages (right) concentrate heavily on function, whereas the front pages (left) are all about form. This I suppose makes sense, as it's form that will draw your eye to a flyer to begin with, not function. This is something I feel is very important to take into account.

I've also noticed that the images are solely vector graphics that are used, and seen as I feel all 4 flyers are appropriate and attractive for their purposes, I don't see much need to stray from this trend, although I do plan to experiment a little. I also notice that generally, no more than 3 colours are used in any of the flyers, and this is something that contributes to the success of the flyers, and is something that I have taken note of.
